Today started out a little rough when I showed up at my moms with my younger sister was in a mood. I helped my mom in the kitchen and made my award winning cheesy cornbread casserole. The tension in the house washed away by the time we sat down to share our Thanksgiving meal.
My mom started grace with the Lord’s Prayer. I heard my father recite some of the prayer. I am thankful for that. His aphasia has caused him to lose his speech. He will sing along to happy birthday sometimes too. I cherish those little moments when I have him back in those brief moments. After our meal we went in the backyard and played with my nephews. I am thankful for my family.
My sister and I decided to brave 3 hours in the cold and it paid off. We scored some great black Friday finds at ToyRUs for Santa gifts for the boys.
When we got home, the Longhorns decided to finish off the day with a beautiful win. I cant think of a better way to end the UT/A&M rivalry. The Aggies were very hostile and were poor sports the entire game. And all I have to say to them is…Nah nah nah nah! Nah nah nah nah! Hey hey hey! Good-bye!
Best-Thanksgiving-Ever!
I love when my sister sends me picture messages of my beautiful nephews. These are the last 2 she sent me of the loves of my life! I need to plan their scrapbooks. Jellybean’s scrapbook needs major updating and I need to start the baby’s book. I have a lot of planning to do. Oy!
My younger sister gave us another little prince. It’s so much fun cuddling with this little bundle of joy. I love both my nephews with all my heart and soul. I’m looking forward to taking pictures of this lil guy. My older nephew treats me like I am the paparazzi. When he sees a camera in my hand, he runs! I followed him around with 2 cameras at Chuck E Cheese friday afternoon. Photos from that fun afternoon to come.
My nephew is growing up so fast. Here is a recent picture of us. I call him Jellybean and he calls me Coco. I’ve never known a love like this. He is our world and brings happiness to our family. We are truly blessed.
I started a scrapbook for my cousin and his new wife. They had the cutest ‘Save The Date’ cards. I was inspired by this card. When I decided to start the book off with this page, I remembered I had this delicious paper. This is one of my 1st layouts. I had to scan in for my book. I cannot wait to see them and show them what I made for them with all my love.
